This trial is solely for the purpose of testing out my suggested trial mechanics. In the class trial the general posting order will go all over the place, you're allowed to break posting order to respond as often as you want. The goal of this is to make the thread flow more like an actual debate. You will be following a general posting order in the real trials but it doesn't really matter this time around. Also I hate setting character caps but sense this is supposed to be a faster paced trial all responses should be around one~three paragraphs and should mostly contain dialog and very minimal inner thoughts. Unfortunately if the blackened is found there will not be an execution, sorry~ Please wait for the Monokuma post before starting, all evidence has been sent to everybody that investigated and the Monokuma File will be posted below this. Remember, participation in this test trial is completely optional. Monokuma File #0 The victim is Tess T. Ryel, the SHSL Background Singer. Time of death is estimated to be around 1:30 AM.. The body was discovered facedown over one of the couch’s arm rests in the ground floor’s lobby. The victim has three stab wounds in their back and one cut along their left shoulder. Aside from that, the body has no other wounds and there are no traces of any sort of chemicals in their body.

"Now then, let's begin with a simple explanation of the class trial. During the class trial you will present your arguments for who the killer is, and vote for "whodunnit." If you vote correctly, then only the blackened will receive punishment. But if you pick the wrong person... I'll punish everyone *besides* the blackened, and that person will earn the right to check out immediately after the trial!" "Ah but none of that really matters does it?" He wasn't expecting them to even know what team means, after all this was just a test! "Even if you find the killer it doesn't matter at all!" @taghere

[/i] Well, there were worse places to start, one supposes. "Tess was found on the couch of the ground floor lobby at one thirty this mornin, according to this dumb file thing." She said, playing with the end of her long braid all the while she spoke. It didn't seem quite real yet. almost like she was on one of those prank shows her brother used to love to watch. "Stabbed three times. Course, it'd have been too helpful to say with what." Good god you could almost feel her eyes rolling. [/ul]

"An invisible revolver huh." The Rebel muttered beneath his breath, "Not saying I believe you, but even if the weapon existed, it would be hard to handle... Nonetheless easy to find." Eli shuffled around, gathering the evidence he happen to come across during his investigation. He carelessly tossed a notebook unto the podium stand.
"I've found this: Tess' diary. There's a few drawings on the pages of every chick in this group except Yvette here." Eli gave the aforementioned girl a sided-glance. "Guess you weren't exactly a friend."
The rebellious teen plucked the notebook up by a single corner of the item, watching as the pages fluttered to one end of the personal book. "Oh yeah. There's some stuff torn from here: the time before the Hotel, all of it gone. The rest of it is largely untouched. Just the recent page is missing. Pretty fishy if you asked me."

"I...don't think that's right. The obvious murder weapon would be the knife found in the lobby, however the knife didn't have any blood on it. It could have been wiped clean, however there was nothing obvious in the room that could be used like a rag or something. " Geez that Yvette girl sure is a cutie, but she is a bit...out there. Though they do say the crazy ones are the best in bed...
"I also found a notebook on the victim's...on Tess' body. It was too bloody to make out anything really but there were some drawings.I didn't find a missing page or anything...but the fact that there are two notebooks might be relevant to this case."

| Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart | A yawn. "So there were two notebooks." And one had all the girls but one drawn in it, creepy. "Eh, the invisible revolver sounds interesting though." Really the only redeeming topic in this whole conversation; Jamie would kill to take one apart if he could. |

"What were we talking about? Sorry, I was playing Angry Birds so that the birds lose. The pigs stole the eggs fair and square!"
She puts away her spatula covered in hummus and looks over the transcript and determines what was said.
"OH A NOTEBOOK! I found one! Yah, it consists of all her lovely time at the Hotel Despair. She talks about meeting Monokuma, worries about her dying, the fifth commandment, the number 2893, a sodoku she was working on, a perfectly drawn penguin and everything else I said was a lie except for the first two."
So now the notebooks are at three? What could that mean. "She looked around at the other trial goers, hoping someone would....I'm narrating what I want to say and saying what I want to narrate, aren't I? Lemme flip that for a second. REDO!"
"So now the notebooks are at three? What could that mean." She looked around at the other trial goers, hoping someone would give her a severed Lion's head the dentist shot. Dentists are cool. They remind her of her time in the French Revolution with King Louis XVI's army of kitten were no match for a kitten with an army of men and naked ladies.

[/i] "Hah?" For whatever reason this simple section of the reporter's statement struck Rui as odd, causing her to pause momentarily as she retraced her steps in her head, trying to piece together everything she had found "Knife in the lobby ya say. I found a knife when I was checking out the restaurant now that I think about it. I mean, I just figured one of ya dropped after ya washed it off, because it was clean but wet, yanno." Also, just casually dropping in the "one of ya" bit, because she knew she idn't kill anybody and that was all that mattered [/ul]

"Wasn't me who dropped it. The only thing I drop is sick beats!"
Yvette proceeds to recite the Alphabet, skipping vowels because vowels don't believe in taxation without representation.

Post by Akane Aiko Watanabe on Dec 14, 2015 5:29:45 GMT
"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" Akane leaned forward on one dainty, black gloved hand, chin resting comfortably on the back of her palm. "I don't suppose it was used for anything other than the death of our beloved Tess, was it? Say... Cooking. It's poor practice to use a knife on raw meat and not clean it after. We should consider all of our options before jumping to conclusions over a wet knife. In a restaurant, of all places." There was a serious look of curiosity in her golden eyes as she scanned the face of every single person present in the room, eyes finally resting on Monokuma himself at the judge's table. "It may not have even been a knife. There are other sharp objects that can be held accountable for a few stab wounds and a cut, even if the knife is the most logical conclusion..." MADE BY VEL OF GS

Ouch. That sound to hurt. I been quiet for to long, but now I should give some input, especially with Akane statement.
-We might agree that a wet knife could be just a knife someone used to cook Miss Akane. But by logic, when you clean a knife don't you put on a rack to dry, or dry yourself and put it on the knife Stool?
I take a moment to breath. Maybe Akane is right, and focusing on the knife will be a waste of time... But something don't fell right here.
-Besides... Did any of us actually coocked anything? So far all I eat either come from the buffet or the monomachine. I think we should rather discuss why the body was moved.
