"Do we have any evidence to suggest the body was moved? I haven't heard any presented. If there is some though that is a really important fact. Now while Akane is right that it could just be a coincidence...it seems strange. We should try and determine which knife was used for the murder if we can."

Elijah heard what's been said thus far, and largely ignored what Yvette blathered on about. Sure, people with more than a few screws loose had often spoke of interesting things, but this wasn't the time or place.
"Ehh.. I guess before we move on to talkin' theories and stuff." He sighed, "Let's recap on the things we've found so far... Three notebooks, one lobby knife, one knife found in the restaurant and some girly drawings. That everything? I mean.. unless someone is holdin' out on us."

"We should consider all of our options before jumping to conclusions over a wet knife. In a restaurant, of all places.
And then there's this asshole. Forcing herself to bite her tongue before she said something she would regret later, the seamstress simply rolled her eyes off to the side as a few other people blathered on about moving bodies or whatever
"found a note."
The way she ha said it, you' have thought she said the sky was blue, or water was wet, shrugging a shoulder before she continued to mess with the end of her braid as she spoke.
"In the restaurant, on a table near where I found the knife on the floor. asking someone to meet up there in the restaurant
She practically had to stifle a yawn as she spoke here.

-Well, sorry, i expressed myself rather poorly. What i meant is that part of the scene was moved, i guess.
*Shows a clean knife*
-I found this knife near the victim. Is completely clean through. I guess that is safe to assume she was killed in the couch: there is away to much blood. If she was dragged from somewhere else, and even if someone managed to clean it all, there shouldnt be that much blood.

The Rebel paused himself for a moment. A note was presented by Rui, found in the restaurant in plain sight. This gave the kid an idea - despite being quite a stretch - and took this time to pick up the note while everyone seemed solely fixated on the area where they found poor Tess. Once he collected the piece of evidence, Elijah flipped open Tess' diary and laid the note in line with a written page.
"Hmm, I guess our dead friend was expecting someone there." He declared, "Now, I'm no expert in writin' or anything, but just from seeing the note and notebook, the handwriting matches the one in her diary."
Lifting the note outward to everyone, the teen peeked around the single sheet. "Guess she was given chase or something?"

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" Akane lightly rubbed the mark where her face was struck, slightly irritated at Yvette. "So, if she met the murderer in the restaurant, that'd at least directly link the knife to the murder. I imagine they got there in advance and took the knife from the kitchen. From there it was a matter of concealing the knife from sight of the victim." Despite Akane's previous statement, she forfeited her point about the knife without much argument. "We can only assume the body wasn't moved at all. They probably met with good intentions, only for Tess to be stabbed in the back in the lobby..." MADE BY VEL OF GS

"So she sent out a note to get herself ravaged in the restaurant. And with several knives too!! Kinky girl. Tess probably forgot the safe word. So it's not REALLY the killer's fault she died. Picking safe words like "continue", "Go on", and "I'm not bleeding so continue stabbing me" are a recipe for disaster. And I should know I took a cooking lesson. Several of them. It was my electives throughout middle school. It was either that or car engineering. It's not like I'm against car engineering, I just simply did not blend with the teacher. He seemed like the kind of guy who wouldn't want to eat my homework. What sorta guy doesn't want to eat my homework! It's rich in lead! Lead poisoning is what the cool kids are doing these days. Fuck cigarettes. This isn't the 1920's like in the Great Gatsby. I don't go around saying "old sport." In fact, that's the only Walt Whitman novel I have read. Though I really should read more. My nutritionist recommends 2 cups of reading every day, but I don't want to be healthy. I wanna be excessively fat! That way people will ignore me! Just like Tess and how she's constantly ignores me and hasn't said a single fucking word to me while I was here almost like she was avoiding me for some reason. She doesn't have to give me a single word, excel, powerpoint, outlook and note. All she has to do is tell me she cares. She can't do that now because she's been knifed. Being knifed means it had to be a man who killed her. If it was a woman, she would have been scissored."

"...Scissored?" No naughty thoughts Lindsay, pull it together lives are on the line here. " If they met the murderer in the kitchen how was it that the murder occurred in the lobby? Did the murderer lead Tess to the lobby? Why would they do that if they already arranged a meeting in the kitchen. Wouldn't it be much easier and safer to murder her there? More to the point: Why would there even be too knives to begin with? What is so important about the murder knife itself that one would have to conceal it's exsitance with a knife left at the crime scene? Maybe we should examine the wet knife found in the kitchen more closly...we could compare it to the knife found at the scene."

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" "I'm assuming they were friends of some sort. Maybe she led them to the lobby, into a trap of sorts. If the knife in the lobby is the same kind as the one from the kitchen, there's a chance she had plans to get the jump the culprit, only to get stabbed in the back at the last moment before her plans could come to fruition." In Akane's head it was all playing out like one of the dramas she always enjoyed reading. A tale of betrayal one way or the other. Double crossing the double crosser. She didn't really know Tess all too well despite the seeming connection between their talents, but in actuality she had no idea who the girl was or if she had the potential to do any of that... ...Or if anyone had motive to murder her, at that. " That is an interesting and reasonable theory Akane. The knives do appear to be the same. If nobody minds let's go back to the notebooks for a second. Did anyone here find a missing page?"

In a borderline offensive British accent "I do declare lady Akane that the hypothesis you declared is reasonable given the circumstances. Hut Hut Cheerio 'Elo Govenar!"
She kicks Akane in the chin for being reasonable. Yvette respects Akane enough to hit her twice.
Yvette leveled up!
Yvette is now level 39. Go into your Pip-boy and press the "Y" button in order to select a perk from the perk chart.
Yvette has selected "Idiot Savant".
Now, randomly, she'll get triple experience points from doing anything. The lower your intelligence, the higher the chance.

-I think we can rule out she beign killed in suprise. After all, if we supose the victim was waiting someone sitting on the couch, she wouldnt have the Cut on her left arm. Akane theory is probably right, since there are two knifes in play... The main question is: how the killer manage to stab her three times in the back? The cur on the shoulder definitly rule out she beign taken by suprise, and i doubt the killer would manage to get behind her.

Aure let out a short, shaky breath as she finally opened her eyes. The past few minutes had been a hazy blur for her, tears blinding her and thoughts muting the others. Tess had been...special. Tess had been kinder to the Witch than anyone else in the Hotel of Hell, never chastising her. Never mercilessly teasing her when she didn't understand something. But no matter how much she hurt, Ebner knew what she had to do.
She had to make Tess' sacrifice worth it, in the end. Retribution.
“The c-cut on the shoulder,” she choked out, “could have been done post-mortem. As well as the three stabs. Tessy...” Her voice dropped to a whisper as her frame trembled violently once more. “Had to be poisoned. Perhaps the hotel had some...untraceable poison, in the kitchen? They meet her at the restaurant. Offer peace, maybe o-over...over tea? Poison the tea, and T-Tess...she dies...they drag her to the couch and h-hurt her body. That's why there were no signs of struggle.”
“B-But Tess...she, well...you all knew her...Almost all of you. That note from the restaurant, Rui! You know Tess would've given it to a friend in person. But I...I think I know who might have committed this a-awful murder...”

[/i] 'a that." Making it a point to ignore Yvette here because it was clear at this point that she was a fucking moron, Rui instead turned her attention to the little white witch chickadee who had been spouting theories of poison and false flags and blah da blah da blah. "I can't prove or disprove yer poison theory, but the note said, "sorry I couldn’t give this to ya in person.”So we know that she didn't just hand deliver a note. More likely it was slipped under a door or somethin, no?" Rui stroked her chin thoughtfully at what she had just said, while another annoying little nitpic buzzed away at the back of her head until she called mercy and decided to share her concerns with the class. "To be completely honest with all ya, there's still somethin botherin me bout the knives. I poked my head inta the kitchen while I was playing girl detective around the restaurant, and I noticed that while there were several knife blocks scattered around the kitchen, there was only one blade missin. But we know of at least two knives. Where'd the other one come from?" [/ul]
