"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" Legs in tight black stockings sat crossed at the edge of a vinyl booth in the back of the hotel's eerie restaurant. Normally the vocalist would've hightailed it out of the place at first glance, but something about the room made her feel... At home. Whether it was the stage to her right or the cool atmosphere of the room, the place felt no different from the comforting clubs she'd visit back at home. The place seemed packed even, despite being totally deserted. Silverware lined up carefully on every sophisticatedly clothed tabletop, each seat tucked in appropriately, directly across from one another. Akane didn't need a case of OCD to appreciate the symmetry of the room, able to ignore the sense of being in a cage one got from glancing at the windows. She was in here for the long run; with no intention to kill all she could do was make herself right at home. She leaned on her elbow against the table, eyeing the stage exclusively now. It was just like the ones at home, if not a little smaller. No equipment it seemed, but the redhead couldn't resist pushing herself to her heeled feet and slowly made her way towards her elevated wooden home. She pushed her hands against the ledge and heaved herself up in a practiced motion, her legs swinging up onto the flat top of the stage and rolling over onto her back. She sprawled out, taking a moment to reminisce about the weeks before leaving for the school. Suddenly running away wasn't such a bad idea, as it seemed her guardians wouldn't necessarily know where she went either way. " No place like home, huh?" Akane huffed a heavy sigh, only glad this vulnerable moment of hers wasn't being barged in on by a crowd of students. There were only fifteen others after all, Monokuma excluded. They certainly had better things to be doing rather than visiting some creepy restaurant, didn't they? She supposed this hotel really was paradise in its own right, albeit a very unsafe one to put it lightly. The woman sat up now, slumping forward as she brought her knees into her chest and hooked her arms together around her legs. Her right hand gripped her left wrist gently, leaning inwards and resting her chin against her knee tiredly. Amber eyes stared straight ahead at the door aimlessly, the woman taking the silence into consideration. She felt at ease, if only for the moment, eyes shutting gently as she listened for practically anything in the distance. "Some of these rooms really are soundproof, huh...?" She muttered softly, almost as if to test her own statement. Of course saying it aloud didn't really confirm or deny anything – Akane still pretty sure that only the bedrooms were soundproofed – but it was all the encouragement she needed to get to her feet and wander over to the microphone stand centered on the stage. It lacked a crucial component though; the mic. She stifled a laugh at the sight of this, but didn't stop in her motion to grab the stand and clear her throat. "Testing, 1, 2..." she habitually spoke into the stand as she gripped the neck firmly. She was a bit nervous despite the lack of an audience, she hadn't sung solo since she was a child... She didn't want to be out of practice though, did she? If she ever got out of here, she'd be right back to her life as a vocalist. After a bit of vocal exercise she started into the song, her voice a bit weary but still at the top of her game, filling the empty room with echoes of her soft melody. Lindsay wasn't particularly looking to go anywhere. She had taken to just wondering around the Hotel Monokuma aimlessly. Sure, it was the sort of behavior that would probably get her killed, but sitting around in her room was so boring. Not that the sights of the hotel were much better, but at least it was different then staring at her bedroom walls.
Plus there were plenty of hotties here to feast her eyes on and wondering around gave her a better chance to bump into them. As she neared the restaurant she heard a sexy female voice softly drifting out into the hallways.
Lindsay wasn't exactly to up to date on the musical scene. However as a reporter it was her duty to immerse herself into as many fields as she could. She was the mediator between the weird or obscure or exotic and the mainstream. Explaining to the masses what something was and why they should care. She recognized this sound, she had heard a few tracks by Ms. Watanabe as she dug through music of upcoming stars. Lindsay had taken a bit of an interest in her, but before she could try and get an interview the situation in Myanmar happened and when she came back it was one controversy after another, and that interview with him...
Suffice it to say she never got the chance. Now because of luck or chance or even by fate (Red string of fate?) she was stuck in this position with the Rock vocalist. By that same force she happened across her while she was singing in the restaurant.
She had to contain herself. "Be calm Lindsay, you are a professional. Not a drooling fangirl or a lecherous perv. You can talk to her without making an ass out of yourself. You have done it with tons of gorgeous people. Calm, cool, collected. "
Lindsay walked in full of purpose, trying her best to contain her nervous excitement. She almost collapsed to her knees seeing Akane up there on the stage in her natural element. She was so sexy and cool! The perfect image of a rockstar! As soon as she regained her composure she began to formulate what she was going to say.
"Hello Akane! Or do you prefer Ms.Watanabe? Anyway, that song was just wonderful! You have an absolutely beautiful singing voice. But you must get that so often." Lindsay said in a friendly, cute sounding voice.
"My name is Lindsay Hiiragi, and I am the Ultimate Reporter. If you don't mind..I would like to interview you. This is a great opportunity for me to get an interview with someone as talented as yourself." Lindsay said, her voice becoming a bit more professional sounding.
"I also would like to get to know you. After all if we have to be in such an awful situation...it is much better to make friends right?" Lindsay said, with a smile that was the picture of innocence.
(OOC: Your post was great! I still think I need to get used to RPing Lindsay...but I am getting there.)

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" The singer cut her song short, hands tensing up around the thin neck of the stand, eyes widening in surprise. She hadn't realized how bad of a habit it was of hers to shut everything out when she sang, flinching back from the mic. It wasn't embarrassment she felt, the song wasn't personal and she knew she wasn't a poor singer. She felt vulnerable, to sum it up in a single word. Her arms crossed under her chest as she let out a huff of warm breath, eyes downcast at the ledge of the stage in thought. The girl's soft voice cut through her heart like butter, it was no wonder why she was such a good reporter. Akane was sure Lindsay could convince the toughest of men and the coldest of hearts to give her an interview with just a " Pretty please?" and a bat of her eyelashes. "I certainly don't disagree with you..." the redhead let out a quiet chuckle before breathing a heavy sigh, kneeling down and pushing herself off the edge of the stage with a little effort, a bit out of practice with that last part. There were a lot of times where she literally stage dove into crowds to get down, or simply exited backstage. "It's better to make friends than remain enemies of circumstance." She gave a half smile, amber eyes slowly eyeing the reporter from head to toe to head, finally locking eyes with the reporter, an air of confidence about her. "Please, just call me Akane. Miss sounds way too... Professional. We're practically all equals here, after all. As far as I'm concerned we're just sixteen students..." Her arms crossed under her chest, each dainty hand softly holding her own bare elbows, as she began to pace slowly towards the nearest booth. "So, an interview, eh...? I don't think I've ever actually been given one of those... Sounds like fun~" She turned on the spot and sat down carefully, legs crossing and arms stretching out casually far above the woman's head. She had a much more genuine smile on her face now, eyes traveling from the carpet to the girl's face once more, looking for her to take the lead in this exchange. Lindsay blinked in confusion. She hadn't expected it to be so easy. Sure no one had ever really turned down an interview with her before but she had always had the full power of a news organization behind her, or at least it's credibility. Now she was just some girl trapped in a murder hotel and yet Akane was still happily accepting an interview.
"Of course she is you idiot." She scolded herself, "You are the Ultimate Reporter remember? There is no way anyone would turn down the opportunity to be immortalized by you."
With the barest amount of effort a smile sprang back to Lindsay's face. "Good. Thank you so much."
This would be an excellent way to pass some time. Alone with a beautiful girl just having a conversation. Hold on...she looked Lindsay up and down...was she checking her out? Was that even possible? Damn teenage hormones. She really needed to calm down, approach it with the professionalism of a work interview but calmly as she would lunch with a friend. If they ended up making out on one of the tables then so be it.
She wanted to kick the part of her brain that made her think of perverted images like that. It never made things any easier.
"Now where to begin?" Lindsay said thoughtfully, taking out a pen and notepad.
"Well how about the beginning? Where did your family come from, and what were they like? Basically what was your upbringing?" Lindsay asked as she took a seat herself.
(OOC: Your welcome. I don't think she is coming off as overly formal more just....cool. Like not cold, but just a bit distant. )

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" The redhead leaned towards the table, elbow propped up on the table and cheek resting against a loose fist. Her tongue pushed against the inside of her cheek gently in thought, considering how to go about the question. Her parents were always a... Touchy, subject, with her. She didn't want to be a downer so early into the interview either, but she wanted to be truthful all the same. With parted lips she eyed Lindsay once more. She couldn't deny that she certainly found the girl cute, not able to particularly place why, however. Here goes nothing. "They were both native to Japan. I was born and raised in Shinjuku, Tokyo. We spent a lot of time out and about, so I soaked in a lot of the commercialization of the city. The neon lights, skyscrapers for days. The city practically never slept." She closed her eyes as she took in the memories of her hometown, a warms smile on her face as she spoke. Being back there, even if only in memory, sent shivers down her spine. When her eyelids opened again, she looked just a tad bit homesick. "My parents were..." After a brief moment she continued, her face puzzled as she prepared what she wanted to include and what she wanted to leave out. "Well... They were enablers of the best kind. When I needed help or wanted to do anything, they did everything in their power. We were far from an upper-class family, but they always managed to overcome barriers that stood in my way. I jumped from hobbies and dreams for my future practically every week, and they always supported me. When I found music, things clicked, and they were with my one-hundred percent. "But, when I reached stardom they were enablers in... Other ways. My mother was a junkie and my dad started to cheat on my mom. She barely noticed, she was always so god damn out of it. I found solace in a older man at the studios when I needed parenting, but..." She trailed off, a distant look in her golden gaze downcast at the rug at her feet. "Anyways, then my dad died of cancer and my mom offed herself. I was thirteen I think." She huffed a deep breath and bounced back from her darker memories, a brief half smile on her lips as she glanced back up to Lindsay, meeting eyes with the reporter once again. "I-I'm sorry." She shook her head with a halfhearted chuckle, a little flustered. "Uhm... I'm sorry, next question. I have some monsters in the closet that need dealing with. Therapy only did so much for me. It's no big deal." She waved it off with her left hand, before resting her head in her palm once more, index finger playing with her red locks. "Continue, please." Stupid, stupid, stupid! Lindsay dug too deep to fast. Your supposed to go for easy questions first, softballs so that they are more comfortable and trusting. Now she ruined everything. All those politicians she had interviewed lately had screwed with her, you have to go hard and fast with them otherwise they will weasel out of it (Though you do need to know when to stroke their ego so they stay). Now here she was across from a super cool musician who had spilled her angsty secrets and she had nowhere to go from here!
"Idiot. Remember, this interview doesn't have a point. Your talking to an artist, it's all about exploring her character. You don't need to go anywhere." Lindsay thought. That's right. She could easily transition to softball questions without losing face.
"I am terribly sorry. That must have been hard for you." Lindsay said face full of sympathy. She probably should give Akane some information about herself to help facilitate the process and make her feel better about divulging so much about her past. Plus giving some credentials to the person she was interviewing tended to give them more respect for her, which was very useful both during and after the interview
"I am Japanese American. I was born in New York city. My parents are both journalists so this sort of thing is in my blood. I remember seeing interviews and watching reports since I was very young. At first I just sort of picked things up by osmosis. When I was 8 I started up my own column under a penname. A lot of it was fluff, but it helped me hone my skills. Eventually I was given more and more responsibilities and was able to work my way up to becoming an actual Junior Reporter at a local station. I still manage a column on the side, and do freelance work for several important news organizations." Lindsay said still acting cute and personable but unable to keep a bit of pride from spilling out.
"Onto a lighter subject. What do you like to do in your free time? Music is obviously such a big passion of yours it would be great to know what other passions you might have." Lindsay asked with an innocent smile, meanwhile her brain was thinking progressively dirtier thoughts
(OOC: Thanks. I was wondering what you were thinking about Lindsay. I really like Akane too.)

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" Listening to other people talk about their passions made Akane nearly just as happy as she was pursuing her own. Slowly a more relaxed smile crept its way onto her lips, before Lindsay inevitably asked the next question. Part of her was glad that she got the tough question out of the way early, not one for being a downer in a conversation. She uncrossed legs and recrossed them almost immediately, bare left leg with stocking pulled up to the thigh now hooked over her dress-clad right leg. "Well..." This question would take a bit more thought from the vocalist, having thrown herself into her work nonstop for the past few years. What did she do for fun before the realities of life had crashed down around her? The silence was brief, but noticeable, before she spoke again. "I used to game a lot. Believe it or not I used to be a major tomboy as a preteen. While other girls were learning to be cheerleaders, I was headbanging to rock music or crushing people at the local arcade for hours on end. Nowadays it's all about the music, sex, and partying. My job eventually changed me into the sexy punk bitch I am today to the media. Can't say I don't miss being a kid. Hell, I miss the stress of my music career too, now that I'm no longer able to take certain things for granted." She laughed genuinely, finding the whole thing maybe a little ironic. "Waking up at three in the afternoon, hung-over until five. On-stage at seven, partying until midnight. Next morning I'm in bed with some random groupie chick from the day before that I never see again." Akane hoped this wasn't all coming of as pessimistic or trashy to the reporter, not that it particularly mattered. These were fond memories of hers, in her opinion at the very least. "That was more routine rather than hobby – unless you count drinking and sleeping around – but there isn't much free time with that sort of schedule." Her fingers was wrapping red hair around her finger automatically as she considered every sentence. Had she said too much again? She didn't tend to spout so much about her personal life like this, especially to strangers. Not even cute ones. "I guess it's your turn to tell me your hobbies now?" she said with a teasing smile, glossy lips spreading to a light dimple at the end of one corner of her mouth. Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit! She was flirting with her! And here Lindsay thought it was her imagination. A super hot rocker girl flirting with her in this nightmare? What could she do...should she flirt back? Could she? Nobody really knew that she was Bi...or at least most people didn't know anyway. Nobody that really mattered as far as her career went. Could she really do this? What if Akane found out how terrible she was? Could she risk that?
"Don't you know anything? Nobody on the outside world even knows what is happening in here. If they did, you would already be rescued. Feel free to indulge yourself. You work hard, you should play hard to.You can do anything you want here" Of course. Lindsay was being stupid again. Half the reporters at her station kept their relationships secret until long after they were over. She could do this no problem.
"Oh you like gaming? Me too. I don't have a lot of time really. Though when I get downtime on plane flights or whatever I can usually sneak in some reading or gaming. I like all sorts of different things. I'm not really picky, you know? Your life really does sound exciting...I mean I am sure it can be difficult in it's own way but for many people that's sort of a dream." Lindsay said, sounding a bit in awe. That was very similar to Lindsay's dream life, if certain things weren't holding her back she would gladly throw herself into such a lifestyle. Lindsay hoped that her subtle attempts at flirting back were getting through, she was very used to people flirting with her...she wasn't used to being in a position where she was able to flirt back.
"So uh...you like girls huh?" Lindsay asked shyly, a blush forming as she bit her lip and looked slightly away.
(OOC: If the last words of this Rp are "And then they fuck" I can die happy. I kinda ship it too. I did notice you changed the title of this thread from "Dirty Red Heels" to "Scuffed Red Heels" and I am a bit curious as to why.)

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" Akane herself was taken aback just a bit. Sure, she had let it slip that she lived on the more experimental side of things, but it didn't really register that she had said anything about that at all until the question came up. Did she like girls? She didn't necessarily enjoy being in the company of men, whether she found them attractive or not It was a private matter, to say the least. Being with a man brought back flashbacks of all kinds. Things that had left her untrusting of the world. But yet, she did have carnal desires, for relief from the stress of the job – among other things – and she certainly didn't find women unattractive. "I don't suppose that's a usual interview question?" the redhead asked with a tilt of her head, eyeing the flustered girl curiously with a soft laugh. "If I had to label it, I'd have to say I'm a bisexual." She paused briefly, not quite sure of herself. "...But I do prefer the gentler sex." In truth, masculinity bored her, while feminine wiles could always get the better of her usually drunk self when she ultimately did hook up with some stranger at the after parties. "All sorts of things, you say?" she asked, suddenly switching topics. She wasn't quite sure why she was pressing the topic further. Akane felt like she had a tiny bit of power of the blushing reporter though, just from bringing up the topic of sex. She wasn't the type to toy with one's emotions, but her curiosity was piqued. "Like what?" "Isn't this a normal thing high school girls do?"
Akane couldn't help but hear those words ringing in her head. Anymore all she wanted was to be normal. That's partially why she came to Hope's Peak to begin with. Maybe a bit of flirting and romancing could help her feel more at ease with the whole "trapped in a hotel" situation, somehow. Lindsay Hiiragi | 327 words | No real reason tbh, I was a bit tired when I made the title and only just now got around to fixing it. Scuffed just sounds better than "Dirty" to me I guess? Dirty just seems... Dirty. I was aiming for the more "damaged" definition because the whole situation of the hotel is a bit more than dirty. ><'' MADE BY VEL OF GS

This was all so exciting. How could she possibly react to this? She had to keep calm of course, Lindsay was pretty sure interviewing warlords and flirting with potential love interests had at least that much in common.
"Usual interview question? Well it really depends, what the audience of the piece is and how relevant it is to why your interviewing people and how much interest it could generate. To be honest the LGBT readership for my column and the viewership for the network I work at isn't especially high so pandering wouldn't matter. However the audience are mostly liberals so it could effect satisfaction and retention if we were to report on this objectively or with a favorable bias....but I am sure none of that is interesting to you. " Lindsay said with a blush, momentarily setting herself back into business mode did help her nerves a bit.
"I'm bisexual too! Uh...not that anybody really knows that. I think that might actually be the first time I've said that out loud." Lindsay said with a shy, but happy smile. "I mean I have...had encounters with girls and some people have been able to guess...." The reporter trailed off, scrunching up her nose like she was remembering something objectionable. "But I never actually told anybody."
"Yeah...I guess you could say I am really good at research. My knowledge is mostly theoretical but I am a quick learner." Lindsay said blushing profusely and with downcast eyes. Her mind and heart were both racing.
(OOC: That's cool. Just curious. I liked the previous title fine but this is probably a better fit. Sorry about how long it took to post this but I kept drawing blanks for the longest time. )

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" It didn't take a Super High School Level mind reader for Akane to have picked up the hints that Lindsay had been dropping through the conversation. In all fairness the redhead was no stranger to flirting and body language, but she had a few occurrences where she was flat out wrong when she was drunk off her ass, but she was totally sober and willing to press on. "Encounters, eh? I don't suppose they were apart of some sort of research?" She asked with a soft chuckle, tongue pushing out from between her lips and brushing along her upper lip slowly as she eyed the girl's blushing face. She found teasing the reporter to be fun, at the very least. Her toes wiggled in her shoes and her legs quivering ever so slightly, Akane a little nervous. She was good at hiding her anxiety, most of her tells below the waist—thankfully concealed by the tabletop under her elbows. "I'm glad you feel comfortable enough to come out to me with that, though. It's... A big deal, for a lot of people. They worry about judgmental eyes and hateful words. It's... Sad to see, to say the least." She suddenly let out a soft sigh, seeming to drop the flirtatious body language all at once. Her finger paused in its hair twirling motion, tapping against her cheek in though. Reality slowly crept back into her thoughts. She took a moment and blinked away the sad look on her face. Akane wasn't sure what had dampened her mood so suddenly. She had been used to her fair share of hateful comments, the media full of a mix of scorning and devotion for her. She could only reason it was because it was a much more personal topic than just her music, the same reason it wasn't public knowledge that she swung both ways—although it was usually much to her groupies' delight. "...Never mind all that. This can be our little secret." She said with a warm smile, choosing her wording carefully. A nimble finger slowly started to wrap coil her lengthy red locks around it once again. "Let's agree that anything that we say or do in this room we keep our mouths shut about in the near future." Smile still on her face as she winked at the girl, again choosing her wording carefully as she went along. To Lindsay this felt like a dream come true. To be in such an exciting new environment, with a beautiful woman that was so comforting and gentle with her...it was a perfect high school romance!
"Well...y-yeah. It was nothing really serious though. I haven't really...you know...." Lindsay said, trailing off.
"It is kinda scary." The reporter said. Leaving out why it was so worrying. Lindsay didn't care about being bullied or anything of the like, she needed her career and reputation to be untarnished and unimpeachable. She didn't need anyone talking about her sexuality. If they realized what a pervert she was, what a dirty mind she had, she would be ruined. Her entire work personality was based on being innocent, people couldn't realize how much of a lie that was.
"I really like the sound of that Akane." She said, a gentle smile on her lips. A secret love affair in a hotel of murder? This was exactly like a novel!
"Oh! I am sorry. This is pretty unprofessional of me...we haven't gotten much of your interview done." She said, suddenly looking a bit guilty.

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" "Eh?" Akane's golden eyes blinked slowly as she mentioned the word interview. She looked surprised to say the least, thin eyebrows arched in confusion. The redhead had nearly totally forgotten what had brought on all of this scandalous interaction. "Oh, right!" Her pale cheeks reddened as her face filled with hot blood, Akane's own naughty thoughts getting the best of her. She felt silly all of a sudden, what was she doing? Akane cleared her throat, hand on her chest as she faked a cough. She didn't intend on easing up on the flirting, but maybe she was trying to take things too fast? " Although it does mean one less potential enemy..." Didn't it? There was the chance of being stabbed in the back if she left the total stranger in. The reasons she never acted like a normal teenage girl were vivid in her mind now. Too much... Drama, to put it simply. But this was different, somehow. This wasn't a high school, it was something out of a murder mystery novella. "Please, go ahead!" Akane waved her hand in front of her as she shook off her embarrassment. The vocalist's face returned to its natural color in a matter of moments of concentration. "I'm sure you have a lot more to ask me, as fun as talking sex is...~" She chuckled tauntingly as she finished her sentence, giving her best attempt at a seductive smile all the while. Yes, they really should move on. Lindsay was already burning up. She was sure that every inch of this hotel was monitored but she didn't care, she was going to have to...release some tension after this conversation.
"You've wasted enough time already. Most of this you can't even use. You have an excellent opportunity here. Use it." She needed to get back on track. What kind of a ditzy, sex crazed manic was she? God she was awful, just awful...
"No time for wallowing either. It's getting late. And walking back to your room alone could lead to a bad end." Of course that was true too. It was a murder hotel, that she needed to keep in mind.
"No problem...it's really fun talking to you, and I got a bit distracted myself." Lindsay said. slowly getting back into her more professional persona. "I have sadly only had the opportunity to listen to a few of your songs. Do you write them yourself? If so, do you have any themes you draw on? Or do you just write from a personal perspective?" Lindsay questioned, her mannerisms were still charming in a cutesy way but also a bit more distant then she had been before.

"「SEXUAL DISGRACE」" "My... Lyrics?" Akane's music was certainly a big part of her life, her lyrics often giving a close look into her personal moment. It was her inspiration, being able to channel her emotions into dark undertones of otherwise catchy tunes. It was what caught the attention of her fans, while her flirtatious personality and style kept them hooked. "I do write my own stuff, usually. I don't mean to continue being a downer, but I actually draw a lot on personal incidents and hardships I've been too. It ties back in with my family, among... Other things." She nearly shivered at just mentioning the unmentionable things. The source of her emotional albums were things she was rarely comfortable talking about, even if she had let Lindsay in on more than she had originally intended. She let out a long sigh, blowing hair out of her eyes as decided to refrain from dragging on the question. "I'd... Rather not go into details beyond that. Sorry." MADE BY VEL OF GS
