Another sensitive subject. Judging by Lindsay's knowledge of her music, she could have predicted that. However it was a question she needed to ask. Feelings were unimportant in journalism, what mattered were facts. Anything else was just not relevant, except for entertainment value or to bias a viewer's opinion. Once you had the facts it was very easy to manipulate them to your advantage. The truth was often unimportant if not entirely useless. It was how the event or person or story was perceived. Or how people with lots of money wanted that event person or story to be perceived. That was all.
Knowling things like that made it easier to touch some sore nerves, sometimes it's important, other times just to see if you can and how far and hard you can push. Lindsay had started to numb herself to the petty hurt she saw on people's faces when she brushed up against a sensitive area. The fact that Lindsay did feel guilty seeing the look on Akane's face and how she shivered spoke to how she had already gotten to feel something for this girl. Meeting her was almost like meeting an old friend.
But of course that's impossible.
"Oh. I am sorry Akane. Here I go bringing up bad memories again." Lindsay said. The human in her did care, the reporter didn't.
"Moving on. Do you have any feelings about our fellow hostages? First impressions or any thoughts you have had while talking to them?" Lindsay asked.
(OOC: Sorry for my long absence. I have been busy. Hopefully I will be able to post more frequently now.)
