William did not care for all the commotion. He continued his prayer for a few minutes while people kept talking in the background. He was focused on his prayer but he could still make out a bit of what everybody was saying. Many of the people there would be getting a hard lecture on swearing. He continued praying quietly whispering his words.
"Oh Holy Spirit, You are the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity. You are the Spirit of truth, love and holiness, proceeding from the Father and the Son, and equal to Them in all things. I adore You and love You with all my heart. Teach me to know and to seek God, by whom and for whom I was created. Fill my heart with a holy fear and a great love for Him. Give me compunction and patience, and do not let me fall into sin.
Increase faith, hope and charity in me and bring forth in me all the virtues proper to my state of life. Help me to grow in the four cardinal virtues, Your seven gifts and Your twelve fruits.
Make me a faithful follower of Jesus, an obedient child of the Church and a help to my neighbor. Give me the grace to keep the commandments and to receive the sacraments worthily. Raise me to holiness in the state of life to which You have called me, and lead me through a happy death to everlasting life. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Grant me also, O Holy Spirit, Giver of all good gifts, the special favor for which I ask {name special petition}, if it be for Your honor and glory and for my well being. Amen. "

Aure flinched at the bear's presence, then grew all too pale as it started to speak. Ah...what the hell was it? And then it mentioned those machines in their pockets, in the pocket of her tasteless costume... With a shaky hand, Aurelie held the screen to her face as her eyes scanned the words.
“M-Murder? What the..? Qua? What is this?! It's like...like Hotel California. You can check in, but never check out? Ahh, we never checked in! So by that logic, y-you must let us leave immediately. I will call the police! Do not test me, because no one in this room will kill a person!” But despite how resolute she tried to sound, her voice stuttered and shook nonetheless. It was utterly pathetic, and the Witch could feel tears burning her eyes. But she couldn't cry here. She had to keep up appearances for these strangers, right? She could cry later.
“The powers won't allow this.” She crossed her arms, biting her lip hard enough to draw a few drops of blood that she stopped from trickling down her face. “He will not allow this, bear. Do you d-dare to defy One with immense power?”
But the doubtful looks she perceived brought no rallying to her words. Bastards. No, no—they weren't at fault. This was a terrifying situation. So Aure took a breath with great effort, held it, and focused her mind. She visualized all her energy moving into her feet, a blue aura that would guide her legs to the exit. Monokuma may have hidden it well, but not well enough for her power.
...Alas, it didn't work.
There was no glow, no aura, no magic to be found with Ebner opened her eyes. Weak. You are so very weak, you could never be like your motherlike your motherlike your motherlike your motherlike your mo-- No. This wasn't the time for those thoughts, no matter how true they rang.
“This is...you've brought us to Hell...?”
But her speech was interrupted by a blonde boy, as he fiddled with his hood. He was obviously as scared as everyone else, and he needed someone.
“A-ah! I'm...s-so sorry, I was a bit distracted." Her eyes traced the dots on the inside of his hood, the dual nature of his entire jacket. Not one unlike the bear that had just asked them to kill one another. Was he...somehow related to this demonic thing? Well, he wouldn't be able to answer that in his current state. So Aure decided that would be a very important question...for another day. For now, she could at least be supportive. “It's very nice to meet you.” She smiled warmly and tilted her dead. “I'm Aurelie Ebner, the Ultimate White Witch. And you...are?” Perhaps he was the Ultimate Mastermind or something, but she suspected this mystery wouldn't be so easily solved.

That mask you hide behind will make you feel confined.
you can choose to sleep on it, but soon you'll find it comes back around to haunt the reality you're so afraid to face.
| The blonde girl replied, and Hoshi found himself feeling just a little more at ease. "I'm um, Hoshi. Hoshi Kisuragi." Looking down on idle feet, he questioned whether to let her know about the title he held. At that point in time, it hadn't yet crossed his mind that all of their basic details were shown on the Student IDs. The word 'murder' had thrown him off back then, something that resulted in him telling a white little lie. "SHSL Lip Reader." he said, showing off a comforting smile. It was something he was decent enough at, making it a lie that he could pull off his push comes to shove. "It's nice to meet you."

[googlefont="Noto Serif"] @next 281 WORDS
| THE ONE AND ONLY PRINCE IN THIS WORLD He was shaking with excitement, almost rooted into his spot. He was pretty sure that everyone could hear the loud beating of his heart. This was going to be like the Crusades! Or like the Holocaust! Or some other major event. There were these rituals held in an ancient city in the Andes where a small group of people went through the ‘coming of age’ ritual where only one would come out of the room alive. They weren’t allowed out until only one remained. It was this way they could only have the strongest warriors. It also led to their destruction because they didn’t have enough people surviving these rituals. And to think, someone would find that out about them if they studied this hotel. Maybe they would think it was a religious ritual or something. Hiro held in a laugh at that thought. No, he would make sure they got the clues that would tell them what happened, if he ever figured out what was really going on, that is.
“Well, we better get exploring if we’re going to live here. I wonder if there will be some artifacts,” Hiro was excited at that prospect, though he really doubted that there would be anything like that in such a shiny new place. Hiro quickly walked from the room, and began laughing as soon as he knew everyone was gone. Oh, this was going to be so fun! He was going to be a part of history! Even if it wasn’t a good part of history, it was going to be history! He wasn’t just studying it, he WAS history! He walked down the hall with a skip in his step.

"W-What the hell is that supposed to mean you stupid bitch!?"
Oh yeah, she was about to fight this kid. Luckily for him, the crotchety little jerk found it was wise to make his leave, and as people started to murmur to themselves about what in the hell was going on, Rui takes a real sudden interest in her own braid. This wasn't real, none of this was happening. Everything was a madness mantra of sorts, as she didn't want to believe that any of this could be possible, so if she didn't admit it than it wasn't real, right? In the back of her mind, she heard the red haired boy said something about exploding, and with a final tug of her braid that had been wrapped around her index finger. She wanted to say something motivational, something that would help her classmates see that they could get through this if they all just worked together and didn't give up. Instead, the turquoised maiden simply gave a long sigh of defeat.
"Aw fuck."
And with that, the seamstress turned on her heels and walked off in the opposite direction of where the architect had gone. I they were going to explore, no reason to go to the same way, right?

Lindsay was a bit disappointed by being blown off entirely by the bear, but if he refused to answer there wasn't much she could do. His answers to the other questions would have to be pondered. He was doing this for despair? What did that even mean?
It seemed that a couple students had gotten into arguments and they were all reacting in their own ways to the traumatic situation around them. That made sense, in times of danger people fell back on what they knew. So Lindsay carefully scrutinized their reactions, it could tell her a lot about each student.
"I think some of the others have the right idea. If anybody wants to join me, I would be honored to have your help." Lindsay said, giving everyone a cute tentative smile. Then Lindsay slowly began to head off.

"Looks like everyone is leaving."
Oddly enough, the bear had refused to give her any further details on the security of the building, implying that it would be necessary for herself to do the job herself. That impolite psychopath, making perfectly normal people such as herself worry about their lives - at an age where the biggest calamity on the horizon ought to have been their exams. At least they had given her fair warning; Hope's Peak proudly declared itself to be a school like no other.
And unique it was, indeed.
She scanned her immediate surroundings, her eyes coming to rest on the petite form of the SHSL Reporter. Apparently, like herself, Lindsay had managed to keep her feelings in check, and impressively at that. Taking a leaf out of her book, Zana appraised the reactions of the other students, before leaving for her first event of the day: exploring the hotel grounds.
